unless you are interested in the cast of characters for mine and Katesfire's series. in short, Rejection spawned Retribution. Retribution has spawned Redemption--also known as the pain in my ass (remember, Che, YOU wanted to write a Bajor story....) and it's going from there.

-- All recognized canon characters are property of Paramount/CBS.
-- Colonel Reanla Kaelinn, Lieutenant Rash'iel Quinn, Lieutenant Kitanal Kestrae and Klingon Ambassador Ko'Tak were originally created for the Kerok Nor play-by-email RPG. All three Bajorans are the creation of Cheile. Ko'Tak is the creation of Mike Campbell.
-- Lieutenant Commander Zarianne Devante is played in the USS Dauntless play-by-email RPG, however this version is an AU version.
-- Vedek Arilsen was created by Carolyn Fulton and used in her awesome Odo/Kira story "The Fire and Rose", published in the fanzine Love and Justice #2. I do not believe this story is online anymore, but if I find Carolyn's email address, I will contact her and ask for a link that I can put here.

amala'pagh ~ literal meaning "soul-mother". the Bajoran equivalent to a Terran godparent.
galt ~ Cardassian military rank, equivalent to ensign (borrowed from the 7th Order RPG and used in Kerok Nor game-play)
lam're ~ Trill for "mother"
leh'le ~ Bajoran for "little one" (pron. "leh-lay")
trei ~ a small Bajoran songbird with violet feathers (pron. "shray")

Casting notes

-- the model for Kira Steiche in the header and signature banners is MizzD [DA link]. this was done due to the use of this model by Belanna in her birthday gift for Cheile, the Bajor: A Broken World photomanip.
-- Due to the difficulty in finding a good-quality picture of a Romulan to represent Praetor Vierd in the header and banners, we have decided to take some extra liberty with canon and say that Vierd is descended from Praetor Hiren, hence the resemblance.
-- The family names for Furel and Lupaza--and the given name for Mobara are our creations, and not canon.
-- The photos used of Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay are older photos taken in their late 20s/early 30s, roughly the age of the characters they portray.
