The Prophecy [PG, Paris, Paris/Torres]

the department of backstory: summer 1997. the unique and wild ride also known as the Paris/Torres relationship was just beginning to bloom, much to the delight of the P/T fen. However at the time, there was very little backstory info on either Tom or B'Elanna. Due to the way Tom spoke about his father, many presumed Owen was either abusive or simply expected too much from his only son. I explored this idea in a few stories, but in others, such as "Dark Surroundings" and this one, there was no need for bastard!Owen.

Title: The Prophecy
Rating: PG
Pairings: Paris/Torres

It will be many years before you meet she who is your soulmate. Even then, it will take more years for you to know that she is the one.... )

Dark Surroundings [PG, Paris/Torres, one-shot, challenge fic]

the department of backstory: i responded to a challenge put up by the archivist/owner of the Paris/Torres Collective site posted after the episode "One": "Just how claustrophobic is Tom, and why?" other respondees used such angles as an incident during Tom's Maquis days or battling deadly diseases as a child. i, given a lifetime living on fault lines in this lovely state of California and San Francisco's history of violent earthquakes, chose to blame nature. ;)

Title: Dark Surroundings
Rating: PG
Pairings: Paris/Torres, a bit of Harry/Seven
Warnings: some Tom angst
References/spoilers: "One"
Legal B.S.: Star Trek Voyager is owned by Paramount. None of it's mine....except for my muse's sometimes batshit ideas.

I just don't like small, dark places, okay? )

Nightfall [PG, Paris, P/T, one-shot]

the department of backstory: way back when i was active on the PTFever mailing list, there was an older lady named Phyllis, whose moniker (using her initials) was PJs. when another lady named Pam joined sometime later, she also used the initials PJ, but was PJ in NH. eventually they dubbed each other Senior (PJs) and Junior (PJ in NH).

PJs wrote some awesome poetry. i enjoyed reading it all (especially considering i suck ass at poetry), but it wasn't til one spring week when i was suffering from a major cold that coincided with her producing an angst poem from Tom Paris' POV titled "Nightfall". i read it to put me to sleep the first few nights. night five or six with a clogged head rolled around and despite dosing myself with NyQuil, it was nearly 3am and i could not sleep. so i figured i'd try to write. with a copy of PJs' "Nightfall" and a full box of Kleenex at hand came this one-shot.

Title: Nightfall

Snowy Kessik Mornings [P/T, PG, one-shot]

not sure what to say....other than oh my God, this story is OLD. ten years old to be precise. file has it dated November 25, 1997. :boggle:

the department of backstory for anyone who cares:
before JK ever thought of Harry Potter. before Jerry Bruckheimer ever thought of Cold Case. before i ever considered touching a soap opera. and not long before i got into LJS fandom....this is part of my beginnings. behold the makings of Che, the rabid Paris/Torres fangirl, and the musings of a muse that kept me up many a night.

Title: Snowy Kessik Mornings
Rating: PG
Pairings: Paris/Torres, implied Janeway/Chakotay (one whole line, heh)
Warnings: mild B'Elanna angst...that's about it.
References/spoilers: Michael Jan Friedman's "Day of Honor" novel
Legal B.S.: Star Trek Voyager is owned by Paramount. Tori Amos owns her song. None of it's mine....except for my muse's sometimes batshit ideas.
